Using the power of your subconscious mind to heal your body

One of the most interesting things I have noticed, as I go through my 3rd year on TA-65, is a series of events I will, for the lack of a better term, call flashbacks. No, I did not do drugs or other things that would cause this type of unearthing of previous memories. I am 100% sure that I am beginning to access my subconscious mind, or maybe more accurately, it’s bubbling to the surface.  Logically, I always believed your brain stores everything, but I was less convinced you could see it when you wanted.  I certainly do not have 100% recall, but there is no question, I can recreate with 100% accuracy, events that happened, even as far back as my early childhood.

So can you.

While I have noticed it more since being on TA-65, I have also spent a lot of time in hypnosis and meditation over the past couple of years.  I consider the two quite independent and use them very differently. I use hypnosis to access my subconscious mind and to de- and reprogram habits and behaviors that need changing.  Funny, the more you find out about yourself, the more you find you’d like to change. Equally ironic, is that if you could “just be yourself”, you would have changed everything that needs to be changed!

I use meditation primarily for its health benefits, and especially for its documented effects on telomeres and telomerase.  We detail this in our book, The Immortality Edge, if you are interested.  That book details a particular “telomere centric” lifestyle, that includes exercise, dietary advice, supplement advice, meditation practice and of course, a nice chunk of science to back it all up.

But, I got to thinking more recently; another part of that lifestyle should include the power of the subconscious mind. Since the subconscious mind can follow directions and seek solutions, why not harness it to help heal your body.  The specifics of that type of mediation and/or hypnosis program are best left to another arena. Suffice it to say, that if you are already knowledgeable in this area, by all means use it.  If not, a professional hypnotherapist can be a huge help and create a personal program for you.

The anti-aging lifestyle can be embraced, at different levels and this particular level does not have to cost you a ton of money and can become almost automatic, as part of your day, or when you lay down to sleep.  One of my favorite subconscious gurus, Napoleon Hill, says in one of his recorded lectures, “Every night, before you go to sleep, give instruction to your subconscious mind, to regenerate and rejuvenate your body…”

It could not be simpler!

Yours in health,

Dr Dave
